Let me just get this banner out of my before I forget to put it up, haha.
Anyways, I was bored and currently waiting for Reaper to start on CW and after that the Nip/Tuck premiere on FX, and I went to check out my shoutbox cause I crave attention like that, haha. A guy named Coy left a message, as you can see if you’re reading this right now and I clicked on his link to his site. His first post, I guess you can call it a post, or maybe just a front page, talks about Pinoy Vlogging. When it comes to vlogging, I guess I turn a lazy eye to it. I really don’t want to watch something 5 minutes long when I can read something twice as fast. But I guess the tables turn because it takes longer to type something than to vlog about it. I mean, you just turn on your webcam or whatever you use to record, speak, then upload it to your YouTube or website and then you’re done.
I think I the first vlog I ever watched, though, was Emmalina. You can find her here. I only stumbled upon this because there was so much hate going on about her and I just had to see it for myself. In the first place, I don’t why they would talk so much shit about her, she’s cool. then I thought, “if you don’t like her, then don’t watch her vlog.” Which is true. I hate flamers without a cause, or just flamers in general. Go punch a wall or something. — Wow, you know what, scratch Emmalina as my first, I think it was biostudentgirl. I was just looking at my YouTube subscriptions. Whoa, this was like a while ago haha. I don’t even remember why I subscribed to her… boring stuff, haha.
Well, back to Pinoy Vlogging. I don’t really know much about the Pinoy community in vlogging, I just immersed myself into the pinoy blogging community a month or two ago. I started out with GM Tristan and 3Pogi. I got into GMT because I was looking for Filipino Ragnarok Players for some reason, and then I wanted to try it out. I forgot about 3Pogi, though. I think they added me on MySpace or something, haha. But 3Pogi is a well-updated website aptly dubbed “Bringing the Funnies.” Most recently I’ve added Paolo M, who is now at his new domain @ Khoops, ‘Just another Pinoy blog,’ and I guess Coy by default since he got me writing about Pinoy Vlogging, haha. And about actual Pinoy Vlogs, I think I’ve only seen HappySlip’s on YouTube. She’s really funny, and hits the spot to most, if not all, Fil-Ams. But besides that, it’s the only thing I subscribe to. I mean, along the way, I’ve looked and added a few to my list, but the only one I watch so far is hers (and sometimes at that, because as mentioned before, I don’t like to sit down and watch vlogs).
As for me and vlogging, we don’t mix. First of all, I don’t have a webcam or a video camera to record me. I mean I have my Nokia N93i, but I currently do not want to spend money on an .mp4-supported video editing program. Plus I prefer typing. Actually, I really prefer writing, but since it saves the trees online to blog, I do this instead. I’ll save the writing for my english class 
I started blogging on a Xanga. It’s still around, but I think it’s gone into “old-school” status. And, come to think of it, Friendster should be too, haha. Anyways, I fooled around with blogging from Xanga, to Pitas, to this old version of blogger, to something like diary-land, then back to Blogspot. I think now I will be doing this for the rest of my life. If nothing else is comes along, of course. As stated in my first post on this blogspot, “This is an output of feelings, thoughts, and events for me by me. I don’t expect anyone to respond or read this, this is for me so that I may look back and reflect on what I have done.” Although I think I lightly pulled off from the ‘I don’t expect anyone to respond or read this’ part, I do actually want people to read this now.
So anyways, Coy has a thing going on about Pinoy Vlogging called uBlog, iVlog! just click on the banner above if you want to go over and check it out. This was the whole reason for my post. Phew. What a weekend. Action-packed? Eh, could have been better. But the choices that were made were good, and it was better than nothing. It was an experience, a good one, so I dont regret it.
Friday.
Oh friday, what did I do? Oh yeah, I went to my english class in the morning, I think we got put into groups that day, haha, I don’t remember a thing. Whatever, so after that my dad wanted some Chow King so I went to the Eagle Rock Plaza. While I was there, I looked around for some yellow pants for my Skeeter costume, I only found a gold one at Footaction. I called Matthew to see if those were good, I had just woken him up, and he said yeah, it was a good subsititute. He then asked me to look up some scrubs at Fil-Mart for his costume. He should have been Doug, I tells ya, haha. Anyways, I delivered my dad his Chow King then I went to go pick up Matthew so he could get his scrubs outfit and take a look at my potential pants for my costume. He got navy blue scrubs and I got my goldenrod pants and also an application for Footaction. I need a job, haha. After shopping, Matthew and I went to Michaels so I can buy fabric paint for my costume. The online place where I bought my custom T-Shirt didn’t make my lightning bolt yellow, those bastards. So I had to get Yellow paint as well, not only the orange for the circles on my pants. Then after that, we went to eat at Mediterranean Triangle in Eagle Rock. It’s good stuff all day every day there. I dropped Matthew off after that. Kylie didn’t come over tonight, she went to watch a movie with her mother and my mother. I heard she cried during the movie and they had to leave early. I knew it, she can’t even sit down to watch one 30 minutes cartoon, haha.
Saturday.
The morning was a blur. I forgot what I did, haha. I took my mom to Nanay Gloria’s, but she ended up buying food at Little Ongping, haha. I bought food at China House. That place has some good chicken and hot soup. Matthew’s original plan to leave fo Santa Barbara was 3:00 p.m. Mel texted Matthew to leave A.S.A.P. (like at around 2:00 p.m.) Matthew and I didn’t leave until 4:45 p.m. T.G.I.F: Thank God I’m Filipino, hahaha. We’re so Filipino for leaving that late. Good stuff though, apparently we “arrived on time” when we got there. [Pink]. We played some Guitar Hero, then we got down to some beer pong. I’m 0 – 2 playing with them, I need to up my game next time. After that we went to walk around to where the parties were at. Then we went to find some house parties, didn’t find any that still had drinks, haha. Saw some old Cathedral classmates, good stuff. [Power]. It felt like high school again, haha. After that we went to get some Chinese food at Fresk Wok. Their teriyaki and orange chicken were good. I also got a cheseburger cause I was really hungry. Damn I’m fat. When we got back to Daryl’s place, we watched Leon: The Professional and then Doom while we fell asleep, and for those of us still half awake, Police Academy, haha. [Ranger].
Sunday.
We woke up around 10ish. Cleaned up the aftermath, haha. Then Matthew and I left before them at around 12:30 p.m. We got home an hour before the basketball game. Damn, our starters for the game were Geeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyooooooorrrrrrge, John (his brother), Anthony, Matthew, and I. Jeffrey was the next to arrive at halfway through the 1st half. Then Daryl, Mel, and Patrick. We got creamed, haha. Fast breaks killed us, overall our teamwork killed us. Whatevers……. I just like to play. After that, we went to BJs to eat. We recieved horrible service, but that’s o.k., we got free food out of it. Because Matthew and I arrived late there, our orders apparently didn’t go through as our waitress went on break. We got it for free since there were so many delays. I got full from eating Mel’s and Patrick’s left overs, haha, so I bagged my order to-go. After there, the plan was to watch Saw IV. We got in for free via Ryan’s brother. I didn’t get to finish watching the movie, though. I left about half way through. heh…
Today.
Pfft, today was just another day. You don’t need to get a full glimpse of my life. Wait, what am I doing here? haha.
Eh, I’m restless right now. I’ll do a more interesting post later. When something really interesting comes to mind.

Right… so speaking of boobs, I’m not going to ride on the bandwagon on the subject of Dumbledore’s gayness. Wow, he’s gay, o.k. Over it already. This only makes Harry Potter more popular, haha. The gays have totally made up for the loss of children readers (because of their parents, maybe), no worries, haha. I don’t care of Dumbledore is gay, it still doesn’t change the fact that he is a good man (in the book) and the way he does things is cool. The he did things while being gay. So suddenly discovering that he is gay now doesn’t change anything, only the way people label him.
Speaking of gay, did you catch season premiere of the final season of Scrubs tonight? It was great. Full of what you expect of a Scrubs episode. Elliot is stupid, J.D. is stupid, Dr. Cox is stupid, Turk is stupid, Todd is stupid (a given, haha). I don’t want to go into it, maybe people missed it tonight. I’ll just say that it was an awesome episode, once again. Kim is still sexy as ever, even though she has a big stomache. HOTNESS, haha. I bet her embonpoints are getting huge from the pregnancy also

Oh the joy of today, the uneventful. Yeah, nohing much happened today. School was the same, still ain’t feeling it. I think I might have met a new friend today, hopefully another connection has been made so’s I could expand my collection of friends. It’s good to have people to talk to, but sometimes I shut myself off. Listen, I grew up an only child. Every thing was mine mine mine. I didn’t share much, nor did I play with others much. Therefore, I became a loner, and anti-social. I was like that until a changed happened during high school but not in my high school itself. You could say I was a nerd or a geek or something like that back then, I still am, pfft. But I learned through books, movies, interactions, observations how to think and adapt to a whole new world of socialization. It was natural to me. I can pretty much engage in any conversation and become a part of it with a good sense of first impression. I would also excel greatly if there was peer pressure involved. Throughout the years I’ve become social like this, people have percieved it to be a lot of things, like annoying, over-bearing, flirtatious, insecure… but no, it’s not like that. I think I was or still am yearing to be with people, talk to people, overall interacting with people because of my loner-ness-ness of my youth.

Well anyways, back to the meaning of this post. I didn’t like the way I made my new blog layout. I think it was a little cluttered. So I decided to download a template blog and just modify it. I’m so busy with stuff I don’t think I have the time to make a new template. So I hope all the 1 people that read my blog like the new look.

The wildfires are so bad this year. I got out of class today and started to head over to my car and I was wondering why everything was orange around me. I look up to the sky and there was a dark gray cloud with orange haze around it. It’s so windy that I guess the smoke from Santa Clarita blew over here. Or it could be from another fire I haven’t heard of yet.
Funny & Serious:
I passed the first half of my math course this semester! It’s funny cause I half-assed it this first half, but serious cause I need this class. From now on I need to focus on the rest of the semester.
And I’m out>!
So the other day was good. In our basketball game we were actually up at the half, but we lost it in the end. I got my first two points of the season, which makes my stats 1 for 3 on FGs and I got an assist. Wow, I suck, haha.
After that, we all went to Red Robin to eat. Before we sat down at our table, I joked at Ryan for having rheumatoid arthritis. But it turns out that the girl next to me had rheumatoid arthritis. Oh, I felt so bad for saying that, I should have /quit life right there. I don’t think I sad sorry to that person, she doesn’t read this blog, but sorry to her anyway. After we got seated, we had a waiter that remembered all our orders, all 9 nine of us; he didn’t write anything down. Amazing. I don’t think I could do that. I’d probably forget even if I wrote it down! haha. I tried something new yesterday, though. I never tried to Bleu Ribbon burger… and it was all right… it wasn’t outstanding. I still like my Mushroom Burger w/ Crispy Onion Straws. After that, went home, took a shower, played Frets on Fire after I downloaded the DX Theme Song and Say Anything’s “Alive With the Glory of Love” … I gotta tell ya, the guy who fretted Say Anything is nuts… on the Expert level for the song, you’ll literally break your fingers. Even the medium as well! But he’s a good fretter and he frets good songs like Refused’s “New Noise.”

Well anyways, we watched 30 Days of Night later last night. I gotta tell you, it was a different movie. I liked it, because it was different. Sometimes it’s good to watch something that differs from the norm. This is a different movie that’s going to go 50/50 with people. It’s a horror / thriller film so naturally people are going to come in expecting things and you will expect them in this movie. But what you’re not expecting is the drama part of the film. Dealing with human emotions and human actions. The Vampires even say it, but people still overlook it. Anyways, in the perspective of expecting things from the movie, people will be disappointed. Because really, the films does not give you a lot of information up front. Mainly about the Vampires. Such as, for instance almost every time they ran about in the area, they didn’t get attacked. I would speculate that the Vampires can’t smell all too well in the cold. But then again, I’ll go back to the defense of different. I liked the different Vampire look, the different Vampire feeding (ish… cause there was a lot of gore, not just a two puncture wound to the neck), the Vampires didn’t take any prisoners (haha, awesome), and the human emotions and actions in the face of danger were real. Except for “Pacquiao’s” confession, which was weird… He should of just went out and tried to own some Vampires instead of dying. Oh well. So yeah, the ending was kind of like the remake of The Hills Have Eyes in that Josh Hartnett comes out of nowhere and defeats the leader of the Vampires (in turn becoming a Vampire himself). He injected himself with an infected’s blood and became a Vampire. Such as sad and uneventful ending though, I won’t get into that, haha. I’m a bit distracted tonight, and I can’t bring myself to make this longer or finish it. So I’m going to move on.

Today at school, it was boring as usual. Not that my teacher is boring, it’s just that school in general is boring. Anyways, after my engrish class, I went to the R building to work on some CS stuff. Well, actually, I was just there to see a girl. Haha, I’m such a loswer. She wasn’t there though, and I couldn’t wait for her so I left. Why do I do this, I’m so stupid, haha. So anyways, after that, I got me some lunch at El Pollo Loco and went home. I got into the middle of Crash, and I gotta say, it’s a nice movie. I guess I like movies that deal with basic human actions and emotions that are elaborately put togethering in an entertaining movie. Because really, in real life, you don’t see the big picture all at once like in movies. Just like my previous post, movies are like an alternate world to fill in our imaginations.
Chuck. I finally got around to seeing one of the episodes tonight. It… is… awesome. All the hype about it was true. It’s a good show. I happen to catch the Asian episode tonight, haha. It was all good. But I gotta say this, Chuck’s relationship with his sister is kind of disturbing. Why? Cause it kind of looks like they are flirting and/or they are together as a couple. At the beginning of the episode, I swear it, I thought they were together until one of them said brother or sister, I forgot who first. Another perk to the show is that one of my favorite Sci-Fi characters is in it, Adam Baldwin. He was in a couple of Sci-Fi shows that I like such as Angel, Stargate SG-1, and Firefly. He is one of the few characters I like that can play both good and bad characters perfectly. A couple others are John C. McGinley and Christopher Walken.
This episode of Heroes is awesome. I encourage you to watch it. (Side note, haha).

I am so dedicated to Starcraft. It’s always installed on my computer. I play it atleast once a month. I used it in one of my freshman year high school speeches. Damn, did I just go into geek mode? I think I did. And for Starcraft, I’m damn proud of it.
I just got back from seeing Gone Baby Gone. Overall, I would give it a 5. Acting was top-notch. Getting the point across was good. Story… I didn’t like it. Meaning/Significance… it would be like living in an alternate-alternate world. I know you don’t know what I mean by alternate-alternate world, so I’ll explain it. Most movies are created to be alternate worlds for us to view from to color our imaginations. This movie, Gone Baby Gone, I felt like it was an alternate world to an alternate world. In all honesty, I don’t think anyone would be willing to do what Casey Affleck did at the end of the movie. I mean, we can all THINK we can do it, but we won’t. The worlds ‘performing forces’ won’t allow us. “What happens if I don’t do this, What happens if I do, What will people think of me, This decision will make or break my relationship(s), Will I be able to move on with this decision?” … etc.
Ben Affleck as a director, O.K. I’d rather have him direct than act, let’s just say it that way. Screenwriting? Does this rival Good Will Hunting? I’m going to say “no,” although I know a lot of people will say “yes.” I am a little biased because in the first place, I don’t like the story. Or should I say the way it played out. People are going to think it’s reality-based, and it might be, but I don’t think so. If it were reality-based, then I would say it’s a nice swift kick in the face to America, cause I’ve never heard or seen anything like this. I don’t really care about Ben Affleck though, the real star is Casey Affleck. My friends ‘worship’ him, and I think this will make or break him. I read two reviews… one said he was too young, but he did o.k. in the role, and the other was that he wasn’t good and he can’t shake off roles he’s played before (a stereotype-looking guy, a typecasted actor).
I got sidetracked because I was IMDbing, haha. Well anyways, I’m not a movie critic or anything, just my views. The only reason why I’m doing this is to keep a record of things for me. I would like to see this in the future either thinking I was stupid or that I was a genius… or anything in between will suffice

I just remembered this part from Along Came Polly w/ Ben Stiller and Debra Messing along with Hank Azaria who I am shining the spotlight on right now, haha. I just thought this scene was hilarious cause Hank Azaria can pull off so many voices but this particular one is amazing, haha.

In other news, as I was picking up my mom from work today, a woman with a baby in a stroller crossed the street in front of me while the light was yellow. She was like running and pushing the baby. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I wouldn’t do that. Of course, I would if I were alone, well maybe, but she had a baby! I don’t think I would put any baby like that in potential danger. What if the stroller turned over and a car traveling 40mph+ came by, that would be sad :/
